VOLUNTEER SIGN-UP DATE CHANGE & INFORMATION

Our Lionsgate neighborhoood swim team is run entirely by volunteers, and we require your help to complete all of the work that goes along with running the meets. WE APPRECIATE YOU and want to provide you with as much detail as possible, so hang in there for this one.....

All families are required to fulfill a 3 shift volunteer commitment, unless the buyout fee was received and processed during registration. Buyouts are not permitted after the registration period, which is now closed. These commitments are fulfilled by signing up for your desired volunteer job via the sign-up genius. Sign-up is on a first-come-first serve basis.

A signup genius link will be sent out on Wednesday, May 15 @ 12:00PM. You will use the signup link to indicate the meet (day) and position preference. Sign-ups are first come first serve. If you have a specific date or physical restrictions, it is your responsibility to sign up early to guarantee your requirements are met.

Please read through the details before you select your shifts!

Sign ups will close on Wednesday, May 22nd at midnight.

1. ALL FAMILIES need to sign up for 3 SHIFTS over the span of 6 swim meets (5 regular meets and Championships.

2. For regular season swim meets: All volunteers will need to arrive by 5pm to check in with the volunteer coordinators. Concessions set up shifts need to arrive by 4:15pm.

*NEW UPDATE: Champs is now split into 2-Day Sessions: Volunteers will likely check-in approx. 30 min prior to start time.

• Friday, July 12 (11 and UP) - Warm ups start at 3 PM, meet starts at 4:30 PM
• Saturday, July 13 (10 and UNDER) - Warm Ups start at 8:30 AM, meet starts at 10:00 AM

3. If your plans should change and you can no longer fulfill your sign up duties, you will be required to find a responsible replacement volunteer (18 years or older). Please notify us as soon as possible of the new volunteer name.

4. IF you fail to do your volunteer shift, $200/per shift fine will be required for all no shows. Your swimmers will not be able to be entered into the next meet until this check is received. If your check is not received by the next meet, your swimmer will not be allowed at practices.

5. The volunteer position that you sign up for is not guaranteed (Only dates are guaranteed). We may need you to switch volunteer spots during that meet. Volunteers need to be flexible, as things can change fast and we need to have certain spots filled for a successful meet.

6. The volunteer jobs require your full attention. Please make other arrangements for younger siblings.
